Football Manager 2013 Coaches

The new FM13 training system has influenced many of us adding some new and somewhat tangled at the beginning features. However, coaches still remain coaches. An effect from their quality is the most significant factor when we talk about player growth. The other factors: training scheme, work rate and professionalism of player, training facilities.
I decided to write about every type of coach in Football Manager 2013, their key attributes. Additionally, I created lists of the best cheap Football Manager 2013 coaches in every category.

Goalkeeping Coaches

GK coaches are used for two training areas:  Shot Stopping and Handling. These guys work for senior and youth team simultaneously. The best of them have the highest values of the following attributes:

Fitness Coaches

Fitness coaches in Football Manager 2013 are used to improve physical attributes of players. They coach players in the first team and youth team in two training areas: Strength and Aerobic. Important attributes for fitness coaches are nearly the same as for Goalkeeping ones with a single difference:

• Fitness;
• Determination, Level of Discipline, Motivating and Man Management;
• Working with Youngsters is necessary for training young players (U18);
• Adaptability can be important if your coach is foreign and has not worked in your club’s nation.

Coaches

It’s a versatile type of coaches that may train first and youth team players in any area. It depends on attributes level of coaches.
For instance, high Tactical attribute value means a coach may get more stars in Tactics area. The rules for the other attributes:

• Attacking attribute -> Attacking area;
• Defending attribute -> Defending area;
• Mental attribute -> Ball Control area;
• Technical attribute -> Shooting and Ball Control areas;

At the same time high values of common attributes are still very significant:

• Determination, Level of Discipline, Motivating and Man Management;
• Working with Youngsters is necessary for training young players (U18);
• Adaptability can be important if your coach is foreign and has not worked in your club’s nation.

Youth Coaches

Youth coaches train youth players only. Requirements to them are the very same as for standard Coaches described in the previous passage. Working with Youngsters attribute is crucial one in this case.
